The Great British Garden Fashion Show serves as both an event and a British fashion platform for emerging brands & fashion designers coming from all fashion settings. 

 

" As an emerging designer myself, when I was in New York for NYFW 2020 for emerging brands; 

I was lucky enough to meet an array of talented designers; a mix of both British & global, some were emerging like me, but others had been in the fashion industry for 20 years + and  

hadnt received any recognition ... it was only through these emerging fashion platforms coming into existence; mainly abroad, that these designers were able to show their creativity...I thought this to be unfortunate for these incredibly talented designers... I began thinking wouldn't it be productive to introduce a British fashion platform for initially British / global emerging fashion designers & brands....this would support our fashion community... blending designers from all settings to create stunning collaborations.... a fusion of creatives across the field.. working together to be part of this exciting enterprize. .....maybe a bit ambitious but a good starting place..."  

 

The event is for designers to show case their pieces, it does not have to be from their current collection, it can be a combination of their best pieces from all their collections .... 

 

...Within the fashion industry there is always new exciting innovative creative entities emerging.. current, fresh and relevant... to be able to succeed in this fierce 

 

competitive realm... it is not just about appearing in fashion week... although acknowledgment may be received for a moment ... being consistent and relevant, is paramount...to  

 

engage with your audience, to attract your consumer, raising brand awareness and increase your sales....
